Description:
The Spectrum Analyzer is an educational tool that is used for analyzing sound waves in a simplified fashion. The exhibit has an array of included elements (that can be changed to meet your preferences) that accompany it. The exhibit graphs Frequency vs. Amplitude to show how audio signals look from various devices. This allows for a great deal of depth when 'viewing' sound and how different frequencies can be carried within the same sound. The exhibit allows for an almost infinite amount of expandability with its expandable ports that are located on the back of the exhibit. This allows you to connect any device or other exhibit of your choosing to add/and compliment your theme or educational focus. Graphics along side of the exhibit explain the fundamentals of spectrum analysis and each individual component.
Key Features:
- Four interactive audio sources; doorbell, microphone, phone and frequency generator (or add/change any other device of your choosing such as a thermin) - Expandable outlets; located at the rear allow almost any other device to be hooked in (guitar, piano, etc. for educational content of your choice, great for programs) - All electronics protected to prevent external forces from damaging the electronics - All buttons used are heavy duty arcade style - Automatic shutdown and start-up - Strong structure and frame for many years of abuse - Circuitry is custom built for this application from the ground up so there are no redundant or improperly mixed technologies for both hardware and software - 1 year standard warranty
Educational Content:
- Principals of frequency - How a phone works - Basic spectrum analyzer functions - Expandable common jacks for audio transfer allows for limitless possibilities when combined with programs or events
